We hope you will be very happy with your product but in case there is a problem Bark&Lichen offer refunds and exchanges.


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit applied to your original method of payment, as soon as possible. 

Alternatively, an exchange can be arranged.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received your refund, first check your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges (if applicable)

Bark&Lichen only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please note that Bark&Lichen products are natural green forest wood and are subject to colour change and 'shakes', cracks. These cracks are natural and should not affect the function of the product.



If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped to an alternative address to that of the purchaser, on return to Bark&Lichen the giftee will receive a gift voucher to the value of the return. 



Charges are included at the end of the transaction and are subject to a weight and Postal / Zip code.

You are strongly urged to ascertain what the costs will be before placing an order.

Large, bulky or multiple items may be shipped under separate covers. Bark&Lichen will inform you that this is the case once the items are dispatched.

Certain limitations exist on products shipped to the USA or Australia.  For example, any product which has tree bark present may not be shipped to that country.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your product to reach you, may vary - whether exchanged or not.

If you are returning (shipping) an item with a value over £50.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the item reaches us intact.  If we do not receive the item - even though you may state in good faith that the item was dispatched as described - we will not be able to effect a refund or a replacement.
